Jean-Paul, Yves and Frederic are all three passionate about cycling and the island Tenerife. The DNA of cycling is simply in their blood. As Belgian, cycling is taught to you from an early age and you simply grow up with it.
The goal is to be different than other organisations, we want to create a new dimension of cycling in Tenerife. TeideBike and our team are happy to welcom you at this beautiful Island.

This is why the volcanic island is so popular with professional athletes for training. You can climb up to 2,000 metres above sea level.
Tenerife is the cycling paradise on earth. The climate here is very stable. You can expect pleasant temperatures all year round. So leave those sleeves at home because the sun is already shining.
In the morning it is already 20 degrees and that rises smoothly to 28 degrees. In summer, it can get a little warmer, but never extremely. It really is ideal cycling weather!
"I was born on a bicycle, so to speak. My father Hilaire Maes won more than 120 victories as a cyclist. So being a cyclist is in my genes. For a while I was an elite rider without a contract at continental level. I rode for a Belgian/Lithuanian continental team.

I've been in competition and know all the roads in Tenerife. These used to be my trainings roads. I'm very glad I can do something with my passion. Giving people a top experience of cycling in Tenerife is my priority.
